The Invisible Woman

The art scene in Las Vegas often relies on one or two major players, and these players come and go, so staying in favor with the gods can be challenging, especially when one is past the age of bar hopping and such, and when one lives in the wrong part of town. When a major event comes along, I am either unlucky or lucky, to be included. The first LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL event was one of these, and I applied to be included, but did not make the cut. Yet, lesser artists were included, and this enraged me. I decided to be part of the event, permission or no, and created The Invisible Woman, by stringing 500 unwanted negatives on ribbons, and hanging them throughout the festival venue. Many were cut down, but not all.
