Commercial Work

Once back in the States, I discovered that America is indeed the land of opportunity, and that I could add to my wealth by doing commercial work. While I was teaching, this experience helped me pass on valuable information to my students, as it is so easy to make mistakes, forget to bring something essential to the job, etc. Most of the work was architectural (commercial real estate, requiring lots of lighting and long exposures), and about one wedding per year, to keep my hand in. Now and then a portrait session would be fun, or an occasional editorial project. One studio shot of a purse made it into Vogue, but most of my fashion work was for my own fun. Ironically, many shots ended up as fine art, at the Albright Knox.
